On Thursday we had a site visit from Simon of SeSurveying.co.uk – for an estimate of the cost of installing and mapping some survey control points; and he offered to sponsor us with a free hi-tech 3-d laser scan of our archaeology for the end of the dig – capable of resolving individual bricks! This can be used for a video fly-through of a digital reconstruction of the site.
Exciting!
